What Personal Information About Customers Do Melton Pets Direct Ltd. collect?

We use the information to handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers, update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us. We also use this information to improve our website, to prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our website and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on our behalf.

Shipping

We charge postage and packing at £3.95 per order plus VAT for orders on our retail website below £50.  Orders placed on our retail website over £50 are delivered free.
 

Wholesale Customers.

If you have a retail outlet and spend more than £2400 per annum with us you can apply for a wholesale account by clicking on the "become an approved stockist".  If you are already a wholesale customer with a username and password please log-in to see the products in our wholesale site.
 

Shipping Orders

We are now offering free same day despatch on all orders (subject to conditions see below) received by 11am Monday to Thursday.  Please note the following exclusions:

• All parcels are shipped on a "Next Day" service. The only applies where our parcel carrier can actually deliver "next day" and so excludes the Scottish Highlands, all offshore accounts and certain other areas (see below).
• Your order must have been received by us before 11am.

 

THIS OFFER DOES NOT APPLY IN NOVEMBER, DECEMBER OR FIRST WEEK IN JANUARY DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF PARCELS CARRIED BY COURIERS

If you want your delivery on a certain day please put details in the comments box when you place your order.  We will do our best to meet your request.

This is a free offer, failure of our couriers to achieve a next day delivery does not give the right of cancellation or compensation.

 

Navigation around the site

To navigate around the site use the menu links on the top or bottom of the page.

You can only add a single of any item to your basket. To buy more change the quantity required in the basket and click "update basket".
You can always see the number of items and value of your order at the top of the screen.  Click on the "view cart" button at the top of the screen to access your shopping cart and checkout.

 

Accounts

You can register with us at the point of placing an order.  Registering allows you to maintain an order history.  You do not need to create an account to buy from us if you use the "guest" checkout.  We do not store any credit card information on this site.  Please note you will still need to pay for your orders at the time of placing them, an account is only for your convenience and allows you to store your address and view previously placed orders.
